IPL has increased the number of players in each squad to 33
from the previous limit of 30 and also has increased the salary cap by
INR102($2) million.

New Zealand’s wicketkeeper-batsman Brendon McCullum has the
highest base price of INR20,444,940($400,000), followed by Mahela
Jayawardene (INR15,333,705(INR15,333,705($300,000))) and England pacer
James Anderson ($300,000).
Sri Lanka’s legendary off-spinner Muttiah Muralitharan has a base price of INR10,222,470($200,000).
Ravindra Jadeja, with a base price of INR5,111,235($100,000)), is likely to hog the limelight.
