Job Description :
To carry out research work in the area of Mag-Carbon refractories with non-oxide ceramic additives in collaboration with an industry. The selected candidate will be eligible for Ph.D registration following Institute rules & regulations

Essential Qualifications and experience :
M.Sc in Physics or Chemistry with NET qualification or Graduate Degree in the following engineering disciplines together with GATE qualifications.

Desirable Qualifications/ Experiences :
B.E or B.Tech degree in Ceramics / Metallurgy / Chemical / Mechanical Engg. or M.Tech/M.Sc.degree in Material Science. NET/GATE qualification may be exempted only under exceptional circumstances

Eligible persons may apply in the prescribed format (available in the Institute Website: www.nitrkl.ac.in ) affixed with coloured photographs to be submitted in duplicate along with Xerox copies of relevant certificates, grade mark sheets, publications etc., to Asst. Registrar, SRICCE, National Institute of Technology, Rourkela–769 008 on or before 30.04.2012. The cover should be super- scribed clearly the post applied for & Name of the Project.

Mere possession of minimum qualification does not guarantee invitation to the interview. Candidates will be short listed based on merit and need of the project.
