PRINCIPLE:
Laser communication is a wireless communication. This type of communication is an advanced version of the fiber optic communication.
CIRCUIT DESCRIPTION:
The voice signal begins as a sound wave. It is converted to electrical signal by means of a electric microphone in the transmitting circuit. This signal is amplified by means of LM358 audio amplifier and converted into a optical signal by switching the voltage to the laser source via a signal transistor. This optical signal is focused on the phototransistor in the receiver end.
At the receiver end the optical signals from the laser source is sensed by the phototransistor which converts it into an electrical signal again. This signal is amplified and fed into a speaker where it becomes a sound wave. A voltage regulator has been used in the circuit to overcome the feedback in the circuit
