Thuppakki to be remade in Hindi

Director A R Murugadoss is currently directing a film titled Thuppakki which has Vijay in the lead role. This is an action oriented film. At this juncture there is news that the shooting of Thuppakki in Hindi will commence from the month of August.

  We are speaking with Bollywood actress Katrina Kaif for the female lead role. If she has the dates, there are chances for her to pair with Akshay Kumar. 60% shooting of the Tamil film Thuppakki is over. We have planned to shoot the song sequences and the talkie portions. The shooting of the Hindi version of Thuppakki will commence during the month of August."

  Akshay Kumar will don the lead role in this film which gives importance to action. Director Murugadoss while speaking to the media said, "Since the story happens in Mumbai, the Hindi audience will enjoy it very much.
